A Silver Lining
For the past couple of days, I’d been
feeling really low and down in the dumps because nothing was going according to
plan and everything was just falling apart. Avoiding any form of social
interaction and crying myself to sleep had almost become a part of my everyday
routine.
This changed the other day when I came
across these pictures in my photo album that I took on my trip in Udaipur, and
the first thing I thought of was the beautiful sunset that I enjoyed with my
mother right after this shoot. I found
that this memory had brought a smile to my face and although it didn’t solve
any of my problems it definitely did make me feel a whole lot better.
It suddenly occurred to me that constantly
thinking about the past and losing my peace of mind over it was only going to
give me anxiety. Taking a deep breath and letting go, with the faith that
things will get better seemed like the best option to me in a time when the
outcome was beyond my control.
I think I’ve given you’ll enough to read,
so I’m leaving you with pictures of the shoot featuring a tank top from
Chumbak, which has a quirky and fun design and a loose fit, perfect for those
really hot summer days.
( Top - Chumbak, Leggings - Colours, Shoes - Stilettos, Sunglasses - Fast Track, Hand Cuff - Gift)
Until next time,
Niyati Mathur
