A Cinderella Story

Hello everybody!

I know it’s really late for me to say this, but better late than never, right? Happy New Year!!!! May this year be wonderful, beautiful and magical for all you lovely people.
As a child, I lived on a staple of fairytales that made me want to be a princess. And to be one, all I need was a beautiful ball gown. I never had one but I did have a frock that came a little close.
For my second post I wanted to share with you a floor length kurti, inspired by Disney princess ball gowns, which I designed and my parents got stitched for my birthday.

Dress-stiched, shoes- Catwalk, Earrings-Inmark

What started out initially as a gown, became a kurti with a slit in the middle because I figured that there aren’t many places where I could wear a gown.
A kurti however, can be worn on many occasions like weddings and festivals.
I wanted it to be simple, yet elegant which is why I decided on the colour black and a thick multi-coloured border to add some bright hues to it.
I paired it with golden stud earrings and a pair of golden heels.
let me know what you think about my outfit.

Until next time,
Niyati Mathur
