Gerua Is The New Black

05:48 Unknown 0 Comments

I think we’ve all had a celebrity crush at least once in our life and we are so in “love” with this actor that we follow them on every social media, watch all their movies and get into petty fights with people who don’t them.
For me that actor is Shah Rukh Khan.
I’ve had a crush on him ever since I was in first grade and his charm and dimples melt my heart even to this date.
Since I’m utterly obsessed with the song Gerua from his new movie, orange has become my choice of colour lately. Personally I’ve always considered orange as a summer colour and would have never reached out to it during the winter months up until now.
In this post I’ve worn my warm orange coat, the highlight of the outfit, over a black top and a pair of black pants with my favourite boots.

Let me know which Bollywood hunk has your heart in the comments below and I’ll see you’ll soon.
Until next time,

Keeping up with the Kardashians

07:17 Unknown 0 Comments

The kardashians are a controversial lot and are constantly making news with their break-ups, lip jobs and attempts to break the Internet.
While I’m sure most of us at some point have wanted to show up to a Halloween party dressed as ourselves; kim K is the only one ever to have actually done that!
Judge me if you must, but I love that whole family and all the drama, gossip and the fashion that follows.
I figured putting together an outfit inspired by them, is one of the best ways to keep up with the kardashians.

Body-con midi dresses are a staple in all their closets, which they often pair with a big chunky over-coat for that extra dose of glamour.
They’ve all been spotted sporting pointed- toe pumps multiple times and a well-contoured face with a nude lip just screams kardashian!
Let me know who your favourite kardashian is in the comments!

Until next time,

Poncho Panache

Hi guys! Happy New Year!
I think I’ve mentioned this on the blog before that like most of you; I too am definitely a procrastinator. And in the battle of getting ready on time and those five extra blissful minutes of sleep the latter always wins!

(Poncho - Mustard, Leggings - Vero Moda)

A poncho is a “style hack” that I’ve recently discovered for one of those cold winter days when I can hit that snooze button without guilt and still manage to look good within minutes.
Along with being extremely comfortable I adore its versatility because it can be paired with absolutely anything, be it over jeans or even over pajamas for a quick trips to the grocery store.
In this post I’ve worn it over a simple full sleeved top, leggings and a pair of boots. Although its quite minimalistic in nature it managed to turn a few heads in my direction which I was quite pleased about.
As always, let me know your opinion on ponchos in the comments and I’ll see you’ll in my next post.

Until next time,

Niyati Mathur
