Maxi Power

I have had a love-hate relationship with skirts and dresses for as long as I can remember because although I love how elegant and classy they look, I often sit like a man which is obviously not a desirable position to sit in while wearing a skirt or a dress.

I figured it was best to give up on skirts rather than getting nasty looks thrown at me, mostly by my mother. Hence, by default I’ve reached out more for pants or leggings for the longest time.

Off late I’ve been seeing a lot of maxi dresses in the shops and I’m so glad that I finally decided to get my hands on one because summer time is when you realise what a blessing they are. Maxi dresses are a perfect blend of style and comfort. They are so easy to carry and look good on pretty much everybody! I figured that watching how I sit is a small price to pay in order to feel ready to take on summer while feeling comfortable and looking my best. 

Like my previous post, the pictures of this post were also taken while I was on vacation in Jaipur.

As the weather there was quite hot, a handcuff and a pair of stud earrings were all that I could manage to wear in terms of accessories with my block print maxi dress.
