That Colour Is Not For Me!
Hello Everybody!
I’ve always had a love hate relationship with the colour yellow as I think it does not look good on me at all, which is why I often avoid buying yellow clothes. However, over the years a few yellow pieces have found their way into my closet.
Since it feels like summer is here I
decided to wear a sun- dress for a brunch with my friend. It seemed perfect
because I find dresses to be more comfortable than pants in the summer. And the
big floral print on it was a bonus as it gave off summer like vibes.
Initially, I just accessorised the outfit
with yellow earrings that are shaped like flowers and a yellow necklace with a
pair of yellow shoes. That was going to be it, but this morning I developed a
bit of a cold, which is why I decided to carry a shrug with me to keep me warm
but that too ended up being yellow. I chose all things yellow because I wanted
to choose a colour from the dress itself, other than red.
At first I was quite apprehensive about the
look that turned out to have a lot of yellow in it, but decided on carrying on
with it instead of changing into something else when I realized that sometimes
its ok to try wearing a colour that you think is just not for you. But I’ll be
honest with you and tell you that I felt even more comfortable with my look
after my mother and friend convinced me that it looked absolutely ok.
